The Wine:
The vinification of Barbera d’Alba Superiore takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for about 15-18 days. Ageing is traditional, in 25 hl Slavonian oak casks for 12 months.
Barbera shows an intense ruby red colour to the eye. Elegant bouquet, with a fine balance of oak spices and berries. Its strong but well-balanced acidity dominates the taste. It is an enveloping and extremely full-bodied wine.
